Due to a server upgrade at the State of Oregon Data Center, some services will not be available on Sunday, March 14th.

The following applications will NOT be available:

  • Internet Initial Claims
  • Telephone Initial Claims
  • Claim Status
  • Weekly Claim Status - you can still submit weekly claims you will not be able to check the status while the mainframe is down.
  • Claim Restarts

Please note: you can still file a weekly claim online. All systems are expected to be operational by Monday, March 15th. The Unemployment Insurance Call Centers will be open as normal on Monday as well.

Tom Fuller, Employment Department Communications Manager, said, “We appreciate patience on the part of our customers as this much needed upgrade is accomplished. Though there is never a good time, we worked with our State Data Center partners to minimize inconvenience to the public. The upgrade will allow us to provide even better customer service in the future."
