Oregon Pathways Alliance PDF Print E-mail

The Oregon Pathways Alliance was launched in 2004 through funding from the Governor's Employer Workforce Fund and the Oregon Workforce Investment Board. The Alliance is a collaboration of Oregon community colleges that began with five colleges---Chemeketa, Linn-Benton, Mt. Hood, Portland, and Southwestern. The Alliance began by focusing on building career pathways and roadmaps. The Alliance also sponsored the first Oregon Pathways Academy in June 2005. Through a second grant from the Governor's Employer Workforce Fund in 2005, the colleges continued building career pathways capacity and six additional colleges were joined the Alliance with funding from this grant. With funding from the Dept. of Community Colleges and Workforce Development (CCWD) Strategic Reserve Fund in 2007, the remaining colleges joined the Alliance. Currently, the Alliance is funding through Career Pathways grants for 07-09 through CCWD and is supported by the Pathways Alliance Statewide Director.

The current Chair of the Oregon Pathways Alliance is Eileen Casey White, Chemeketa Community College. Past Chairs of the Alliance include: Brenda Brecke, Southwestern and Ann Malosh, Linn-Benton Community College.
